Planning a visit to the Denver Museum of Nature & Science is easy! You have a few options. You can come by car, bike, or public transportation. Once you’ve arrived at the museum, there is ample parking available on-site. However, if you do take public transit like RTD’s light rail system, please be aware that bringing bikes onto light rail trains is prohibited.

The museum is open for nine hours a day, with extended hours on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. If you want to avoid the crowds, head over on a weekday morning. Not only will you beat the rush and avoid the crowds but you may also be able to attend a special event or presentation without having to pay an additional fee.
